Harvest Update

We had a good asparagus harvest today, despite having to pick in the rain, and a farmer shouldn’t compain about the rain, so it was a good day.

Other items of interest around the farm: Hudson and I ate the first ripe strawberry of the season yesterday (and Chantee followed it up a few seconds later with the second). It won’t be long until there are more!

We have room for several more CSA members this season. If you or any of your friends are interested, let us know. We can work out a pro-rated membership fee (280.00) as we have already passed the first delivery.

This week’s CSA selection will likely include:

Fall harvested sweet potatoes (very excellent)
and your choice of:
Asparagus and Spinach (two bunches/bags total)
Collards, Kale, or Bok Choi
Baby lettuce mix or butterhead lettuce
Salad Turnips or Easter Egg Radishes
Green Onions or Basil

See you on Thursday!

Luke
